The preamplifier your digital rig has been missing. The N1 delivers your instrument's true signal — clean, stable, and dynamically alive — straight to your Kemper, Fractal, Neural DSP, Helix, or any audio interface. Made in Italy.

MR — Musician Reference

A flat 20–20,000 Hz response doesn’t exist on a stage. An MR does.

42 Hz – 20 kHz ±2 dB · 550 W / 8 Ω · Made in Italy

The right side of the system.

Every symmetrical system needs two halves. The Radice 101P is the mirror-image passive companion to the Radice 101A — same transducers, same Hi-End crossover, same enclosure geometry, but built as the exact specular reverse of the 101A cabinet.

Together, the 101A and 101P form a perfectly balanced stereo pair: two cabinets that are acoustically and visually identical, one the reflection of the other. On stage, in the rehearsal room, or in the studio, the result is a system with a precise, symmetrical identity — not two speakers that happen to be placed side by side, but a single instrument in two bodies.

Passive by design, not by limitation

The 101P has no internal amplifier. This is not a cost decision — it is an architectural one. In a system built around the 101A, the second amplifier channel of the Powersoft module drives the 101P directly via the Speakon power output. The 101A handles all amplification, all signal routing, and all control for both cabinets. The 101P does what it is supposed to do: reproduce sound with complete fidelity to the signal it receives.

The result is a stereo system with a single point of control, a single signal chain, and no compromise in the passive cabinet — because the passive cabinet uses exactly the same transducers and crossover as the active one.

Transducers and crossover: identical to the 101A

The 101P uses the same 10-inch neodymium woofer and 37 mm diaphragm compression tweeter as the 101A — both designed and manufactured in Italy. The passive analog crossover is built to the same Hi-End specification: selected components, the same topology, the same crossover point. An L-PAD attenuator on the tweeter allows independent high-frequency adjustment on the passive side — useful for compensating minor acoustic asymmetries between the two positions in a room.

The frequency response is 42 Hz to 20 kHz within ±2 dB. The passive nominal impedance is 8 Ω, rated at 550 W program.

Enclosure

The 101P enclosure is the specular version of the 101A: same 20 mm poplar plywood construction, same internal geometry, same bass reflex tuning, same three-material acoustic insulation treatment — but built as a left-right mirror image. Placed symmetrically with the 101A, the two cabinets form a visually coherent pair with identical acoustic behaviour on both sides.

There is no metal grille. The 101P ships with a fabric dust cover; optional magnetic wood-and-fabric grilles are available.

Connection

The 101P connects to the 101A via a single Speakon cable from the 101A's power output. No additional amplifier, no additional power supply, no additional settings. The 101A manages output level, mute, and signal routing for both cabinets simultaneously.

The 101P can also be used as a standalone passive cabinet driven by any external amplifier via its Speakon input connector.

Weight: 11 kg. Dimensions: 466 × 340 × 495 mm (specular to the 101A).

Patented design. Engineered and produced in Italy.

The Radice 101P is part of the Series 101 system. It is distinct from the Radice 110P, which belongs to the Series 110 — a separate line sharing several components but with a different acoustic character and a more bass-oriented response.
