The frequency response is linear from 42 Hz to 20 kHz within ±2 dB, measured on the tweeter axis at one metre.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eThe decision to use a passive analog crossover — rather than the more common approach of separate amplifier channels with digital filtering — is rooted in emission quality. The passive crossover in the 101A uses Hi-End grade audio components, the same specification found in high-level Hi-Fi and professional studio monitors. An L-PAD attenuator on the tweeter allows fine adjustment of the high-frequency balance to suit the listening environment without altering the crossover's phase behaviour.
